IS YOUR POOL HEATED?
Yes, our 25m indoor pool is heated to an average of 26 degrees. The training pool is heated to 32 degrees which we consider the optimal temperature conditions for all swimmers.

DOES YOUR CENTRE HAVE CHANGE FACILITIES?
Yes, our facilities have separate change facilities for men and women which also include a baby change area.

WHAT ABOUT THE WATER QUALITY?
Cronulla Beach Swim School pool is chlorinated and fitted with the latest water treatment and filtration system to ensure a hygienic and safe environment for all swimmers. Our water quality is constantly monitored during the day and regularly tested.

ARE THE TEACHERS QUALIFIED?
Yes, all our learn to swim teachers have undergone an extensive training program and hold an Austswim qualification nationally recognised as one of the leading teaching qualifications within Australia. Parents can feel confident their child is receiving the best in aquatic education.

DO I NEED TO GET IN THE WATER WITH MY CHILD?
Parents only need to be in the water when their child is enrolled in our Mums/Dads & Bubs classes.

WHAT IF MY CHILD IS SICK AND CAN’T ATTEND CLASS?
Should your child become sick and unable to make their lesson, we allow make up lessons. For full details of our make policy please see our enrolment form or contact the customer service desk.

CAN I SWIM OR STAY IN THE POOL AFTER MY LESSON?
No, our facility is primarily a teaching centre, however there are set times when the swim school is open for swimming. Please contact reception for details.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT LEVEL MY CHILD IS?
At the time of enrolling, your child’s swimming ability will be assessed by our Swim School Manager. Their progress will then be closely monitored to ensure they progress with children of a similar ability.

I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT WHAT’S BEING TAUGHT TO MY CHILD, WHO DO I TALK TO?
During most classes our children and teachers are monitored by our Swim School Manager who is available to discuss any of your concerns either on an ad hoc basis or at a more formal meeting.
